Board
of Trustees
The
Board of Trustees is charged with governing our school. Their responsibilities
include:
ensuring children get the best possible education deal
reviewing the school charter
ratification of school policies
setting the school budget
consulting with the community
Meetings
are held in the staffroom usually on the last Wednesday of each
month and are advertised in the school newsletter.
Reports
and minutes are displayed in the school office and newsletters from
the Board are posted below, available in PFD format.
Consider
becoming a trustee
Just
by standing, you are demonstrating your commitment to our students
and their education. Putting your name forward shows your children
how much you value their education.
Sitting
on the board helps everyone. You make important decisions about
your school and you learn new skills and get to know new people.
The vast majority of trustees say it is a very worthwhile experience
- not only helping our children, but because of what they gain personally
as well.
